The Journey Begins

I am a licensed professional counselor. I completed my masters in clinical mental health counseling and doctorate in counselor supervision and education at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, LA. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and because of my personal experiences with ADHD and its co-morbid disorders, it has become a specialized interest. My first career was as a broadcast journalist, but my diverse background has included teaching, not for profit management, and running my own costume business. I’ve authored a children’s storybook on shyness and introversion, entitled “Shybug” and am currently working on a series of brief ebooks on mental health disorders in children entitled “Mom’s Ten Tips”.
